Design & construction
Tank walls are made from A-36 steel plate. Tank heads are also steel, flanged and heavily reinforced with channel stiffeners. Access ladders are provided both inside and outside the tank. Tanks are covered with an aluminum skin and six inches of fiberglass insulation. Standard skin has an embossed natural finish. We also offer the skin with a baked-on painted finish, either Astec ivory or Astec brown. Decals showing the Heatec name and logo are included. Other color finishes, stripes and decals with your name or logo are available by request.
