The polymer pellets are stocked in Super Bags shown in the photo. The bags are hoisted over the polymer hopper where they are unloaded. A trolley system facilitates handling the bags and eliminates the need for a fork lift truck and box dumper.

The Rockmart terminal uses PLC controls to operate the blending process semiautomatically. The operator controls the process from a computer located at a control station (see photo).

Graphic representations of the operating components appear on the computer screen as shown above. These enable the operator to choose various settings, initiate the process and periodically check the progress.

There is no need for the large control panel that you can see at other plants we have built.

Fully automatic systems are also available.
