Seven of the ivory colored tanks at this plant are emulsion tanks. Each has a capacity of 20,000 gallons and stores emulsion for loadout. They are uninsulated and heated by steam.
The photo also shows an insulated asphalt tank, and two additive tanks. Most have gauge boards for level indications.
Nine of the tanks are replacements for old tanks. Heatec field technicians installed the tanks and made field connections in the tanks to mate with the old piping for substantial savings.
