These tanks are used at the terminal in addition to the asphalt storage tanks. The three on the left are polymer let down tanks with a capacity of 35,000 gallons each. They are heated with hot oil. The shortest tank is for diesel fuel and has a capacity of 13,000 gallons. It is unheated.
Next is a 20,000 gallon storage tank for waste oil. It is heated with hot oil. On the far right is a 20,000 gallon tank for cross-link additive. It is heated with hot oil.
The waste oil is burned by the two hot oil heaters.
The diesel fuel is available as an alternate fuel for the burners of the hot oil heaters. It is also used to operate the engine of the generator set.
